The Devil in the Temple II

When I turn to face him, the smirk instantly vanishes from his face. My back is once more against the wall at that point, but this wall is not frigid; rather, it feels hot for some reason.

With both hands, he corners my head, and I can see how he narrows his eyes. I can smell his fresh mint breath as he leans his face closer to mine. My face starts to feel warm at that point, and I'm unable to take my eyes off his stunning green eyes.

"Is that what you're asking me, am I not influenced by the sun, and this damned temple?" He sneers, and I acknowledge it with a nod that matches the ferocity of his look.

Heaving a sigh after I see him nod simultaneously. Even though I can feel my hands not shaking, I didn't care that his hands were already scratching the wall next to me. It implies that this time, with this person in front of me, I'm secure.
