The Troublesome Night I

“Milady, you are so stunning!”

“Milady, you really are something that is like a rose, I agree!”

"You're gorgeous, Lady Solstice!"

“Despite the fact that this is my first time meeting you, you have already made my heart race.”

I take a sip of my tea and focus my gaze on the women who are praising me. All I did was smile and laugh in response to their words, enhancing the beauty of their attention in their pictures.

I already perceive them as being cynical deep down.

They have always praised me in my previous life, and I never think twice about asking them to do anything for me. I had full confidence in the ladies I had invited to the tea party, but none of them ultimately supported me.

I was humiliated, tortured, and betrayed by the people I love when the actual daughter was revealed to society, with the exception of the true friends I consider because their deaths had occurred before mine.
