The Truth about the Alchemist I
“I-I---” I felt as though I had no words to say after seeing that occurrence, therefore I was unable to talk as freely as I would have liked. I'm not sure what purpose Claudius had for doing that, but I assume it had to do with me because, right before he left, I heard him use the moniker I had previously given to him.
This young man is currently grinning at me, but I get the impression that he's been concealing something behind that smile.
"Your acquaintance has already received treatment from me, and you are welcome to visit this location. But I guess you two are still not allowed to leave this building."
“Then, where are we?”
He sighs and I at least catch him grinning as he looks at me.
"You two are in my home, and I caution you that the outside is still dangerous."
“Why? What took place after we passed out?”
