1 - Back from Hell

A burning fire suddenly appeared in one of the alleys in the city of werewolves, Liberty City. From the burning fire, emerged a magnificent 6' 3" figure with his dark blue horn and jet black hair.

His perfect curve of eyebrows frowned above a pair of green demon eyes. His gaze was so sharp even sharper than the warrior's sword.

It was the gaze of a true leader because he was an alpha from the Sommerset clan, the richest werewolf clan in the city. Even in his demon form, he was still good-looking and furious he was.

Now, the burning fire slowly dimmed showing the pentagram shape on the ground. With that, that was the proof that he had just come back from hell. It was easy for him to get back from hell because he had bits of help.

He was Hybrid Antara, an alpha deceived by a demon in a werewolf city ruled by lower demons, and his family was in debt to a club owned by the youngest prince of hell, Demon Anwir. Demon Anwir deceived him by telling him that Hybrid Antara could settle the matter if he went to hell.

Hybrid Antara went to hell only to find that he walked into a trap set by Demon Anwir. Being the youngest prince of hell, Demon Anwir caused a lot of trouble for himself. A true demon he was.

One of the troubles involved sending a company to Hybrid Crystal in hell. She was the last of her kind of a witch and werewolf.

When Hybrid Antara was held captive by Hybrid Crystal, she became sympathetic to Hybrid Antara, knowing all miseries he had been through.

Hybrid Crystal herself wasn’t an evil woman. She was fed up with the troubles caused by Demon Anwir.

She was also fed up with the system made in Liberty City by the demons that only the rich werewolf clan survived.

If there was any poor werewolf clan, they'd be in debt to the demons' club, or they would be thrown to the edge of the city just to be eaten by even lesser demons who lived surrounding the city. There was no special treatment for Hybrid Antara's family as well, the Sommerset clan who used to be the richest, had to be in debt to the demon's club owned by Demon Anwir, after Hybrid Antara's father died.

An old, higher demon, even a prince of hell like Demon Anwir supposed to have wisdom behind his evil doings. But those weren’t the words that came close to who Demon Anwir was. He was the true definition of pure evil.

Thus, Hybrid Crystal demanded a companion for her as a way to keep Demon Anwir occupied. She was hoping that would teach him a lesson, which wasn’t. He even sent a companion that was deceived by him first.

The reason why Hybrid Crystal left the city and went to live in hell, she thought that if living in a city was just like living in hell, why not just lived in hell all along? Especially when her magic as a Hybrid of werewolf and witch thrived in the hell realm.

Upon meeting Hybrid Antara for the first time when he arrived in hell and was trapped by Demon Anwir to be sent to Hybrid Crystal, she was amazed by his appearance. But kept silent until Demon Anwir left her place.

Then she asked the poor soul, Hybrid Antara with his green cat's eye, typical of demon's eyes.

“Tell me, Antara. Are your parents, half-demons just like you or you were born with those eyes alone, that no one has the same eyes as yours?”

He replied, “I was born like this, but mostly I could hide them with my dark brown eyes to be able to be accepted among the werewolves because I'm an alpha. Only my mother knows that I have these eyes. I despised them. Especially when I arrived here in hell, I couldn’t concentrate to hide them. They appear glowing because I could see better than when I have my werewolf eyes. Yeah, without seeing in the mirror, I know the difference between when my eyes are brown or demonic green. My mom has a secret, but it’s one that she swears to keep to her grave. It’s always futile to ask her why I was born as a Hybrid. “

Hybrid Antara closed his story with an obvious sorrow. As a result, Hybrid Crystal was touched, left alone she knew the reason he was born like that.

Moreover, she knew who had the same green demonic but beautiful eyes as Hybrid Antara's. So, she asked a question surprising Hybrid Antara.

“What if I tell you that those demonic green eyes of yours have their twins here in hell?” Hybrid Crystal smirked but it wasn’t the case for Hybrid Antara, he widened his mesmerizing green demonic eyes like they were about to pop out of their places.

He couldn’t believe the question and he was afraid of his thoughts, but he gained the courage to think at least he could only ask for an explanation.

“And why do you want to tell me that information, Hybrid Crystal? Will there be a catch? Will you let me go to finish my unfinished business of killing Demon Anwir? Though he’s the youngest prince of hell, I don’t care at least I’d die trying. You can have my soul later when I die.”

“Ow… dear. I didn’t know you’d mistaken me for someone so cruel and has no heart. I may live in hell, Antara. But I’m not a demon. I don't eat souls. Do you even know what kind of Hybrid I am? I’m a half werewolf and half witch. We have a lot in common without you realizing it. I want to help you because we both have werewolf blood. Say, a Moon Goddess’ child helps another of her child. Don’t get me wrong, you’re the one who has demon blood. Shouldn’t I be the one who thinks that you’ll deceive me, Hybrid Antara?”

Her statement lightened up Hybrid Antara’s logical thought that he felt ashamed logically he was the one who had the deceiver’s blood, a demon. But just like Hybrid Crystal, his kind werewolf side and his true character as an Alpha made Hybrid Antara very soft in his heart, so he apologized.

“Pardon me, kind lady. I should’ve been aware of the stained blood of a demon. I shouldn’t accuse you like that. Shame on me. Will you accept my apology?”

“Apology accepted, and he’s as wise as his father though he has the demon blood. Indeed, the older the demon, he should be wiser than the time itself. You should be proud of the demon blood that runs in your vein. That, my child, wasn’t just the blood of an ordinary demon. It was the blood of the wisest demon, the oldest of them all, Demon Akheron himself. Our father of werewolf who spread the werewolf virus to humans 33 years ago so when Demon Ahriman broke loose from hell to earth with his minions of lower demons, humans can fight them with their werewolf blood, of course.”

“What a true hero he is, this Demon Akheron. He made vulnerable human to be strong by facing many phases of broken bones to be a werewolf and fight the demon?” Hybrid Antara sounded mocking Demon Akheron himself, stating that humans needed to get through the pain of breaking bones just to be wolves to be able to fight the demons, lesser demons.

“Why do you sound like you’re mocking your father?” Hybrid Crystal was puzzled and couldn’t comprehend the thought of a Hybrid, a mirror of the mighty Demon Akheron who stood before her.

“Well, he’s still a demon, and there’s always a catch. I’m thinking that I’m the catch. Why would he plant his seed on one of the lowest creatures in the food chain, a werewolf? Never crossed your mind, o kind lady?”

Hybrid Crystal frowned. She just found out that besides being wise, apparently Hybrid Antara also inherited Demon Akheron’s cleverness. He practically questioned the decision of a God of the werewolf, the Demon Akheron.

“For that, my child. Only Demon Akheron and Moon Goddess herself knew the answer. Or you don’t believe in Moon Goddess anymore?”

“Well, I believe in hell, coz here I am.” Hybrid Antara and his smart mouth. If it wasn’t because of his smart mouth, he wouldn’t involve with Demon Anwir and be stuck in hell, for maybe later went back from hell, to go back to Liberty City and settled his unfinished business.

Hybrid Crystal only shook her head, amazed by how Hybrid Antara was a resemblance to Demon Akheron even in the way he spoke.

“Is there something wrong? You seemed like you’ve just seen a ghost” Hybrid Antara was confused seeing the expression on Hybrid Crystal’s face.

She replied, "To be honest, I'm still amazed by how you and your father look alike. It feels like I'm talking to the mighty Demon Akheron himself. Now, before you begin your training with me, let me take you to your father. I'm pretty sure he would be ecstatic seeing you in the flesh"

"Now, why would you want to train me?" Hybrid Antara had so many questions in his mind that it was so peculiar Demon Anwir was supposed to trap him in misery but it seemed like Hybrid Antara himself got a golden ticket to kill Demon Anwir himself. It was like the Demon created a weapon to kill himself. Did he have a death wish or what?

It was something that Hybrid Antara had in mind.

"Let's say, I had enough with the absurd chaos made by Anwir. I've lived long enough in hell just to see he does anything he pleased without the capacity of having a greater purpose in all his evil doings. So creating a weapon like you to kill him, would be the most pleasant gift I ever created for myself. If you ever succeeded. But I believe you will because you have the seed of the oldest and wisest demon who knew exactly what to do with his great demonic power. Along with the chaos Ahriman brought to the world, Akheron created balance. Though it won't be easy for humans, but they finally survived as werewolves."

Hybrid Crystal looked furious because her being fed up with Demon Anwir's evil doings.

"So I'm merely a weapon?" Hybrid Antara replied with an expression that put doubt in Hybrid Crystal's mind, but he continued, "I don't care as long as I could kill Demon Anwir. If I'm merely a weapon, so be it!"

Hybrid Antara had the spirit that was soon admired by Hybrid Crystal or anyone that despised Demon Anwir. If they could join forces to kill Demon Anwir, that was the time.

Smiling, Hybrid Crystal knew she had to start the process of creating the ultimate weapon for killing Demon Anwir which involved bringing Hybrid Antara to see his mighty father, Demon Akheron.

"Come, my child. Let's go see your mighty father. With the skills from me later when you have the training with me, I'm sure your father will give you blessings as well to take care of his annoying youngest brother. Akheron has tried so long to restore balance for the werewolf world. If one that caused the troubles can be erased for good, I believe he's not just going to give his blessings, but also his power. After all, you're his descendant."

Hybrid Antara nodded his head. He thought, that the sooner he began the process, the better he could come back to Liberty City and kill Demon Anwir.

Hybrid Crystal drew a big circle in the air and a portal to another part of hell was opened. Curiously, Hybrid Antara asked what she had been doing.

"What are you doing, kind lady?"

Smirking, the woman answered, "Making a portal to your father's castle. Haven't you seen a witch or a warlock do this?"

Antara shook his head still with amazement and read on his big glowing green demonic eyes. His thick eyebrows lifted almost in unity in the middle part.

"That's right! That's because witches and warlocks only live in hell. It's futile for them to live in Liberty City. Their magic will be wasted. You need to remember that I'm the only Hybrid witch and werewolf who live here in hell, so trust nobody!"

"Aye-aye, ma'am!" Antara answered with his still widened eyes.

"Step into the fire circle, pretty boy! It's about time you have to be brave. I won't leave you alone. Not yet. I still have to ask your father's permission to make you my apprentice. I intend to live forever in hell, so obeying your father's rule is the only option."

Hybrid Crystal signed her hand to the middle of the fire circle that showed a passage to a castle in the middle of the same realm that looked like hell as well. With determination, firmed jaw, serious face, and clenched fists, he stepped into the circle followed by Hybrid Crystal.
