Chapter 84: Chloe and Detective Porter
Chloe came to once again with smelling salts. She was starting to get used to the burning pinching feeling it left in her nose. She looked up into familiar flat stone gray eyes.
"Are you okay? Can you tell me your name?" Josh asked her.
"Hello, Josh. Mrs. Chloe Ellen Harris, I'd prefer not to give my age, but you already know it pretty well at this point." Chloe told him groggily.
"Mrs. Harris, how do you feel?" Josh asked, flashing a light across her eyes and evaluating her well being.
"I could be better, but I'll be okay." Chloe looked across the parking lot to where the Lovey-dovey's had been flung. "How are they?"

"Give her a call then put her in holding cell three." Detective Porter said with a sigh, still rubbing away whatever was eating at him with his eyes closed. Detective Brownstone nodded at Chloe and took her down the hall around the corner and sat her at a desk. Chloe recognized it as Brownstone's desk, having sat there before. Chloe woke up in a pair of Kyle's satin pajama bottoms with a matching top folded into a cloud-like king sized bed and blinked at the New York Skyline out the window. It was Christmas Eve, and she was in New York City. She smiled and stretched then got out of bed and padded to the window."Can't get enough of it, can you?"
