Of all the varying emotions she had for Leon, guilt sure took precedence, making itself comfortable in her head for days and haunting her till she found herself driving to his house on Thursday after work.

Well, the option of texting and calling had been there, but she had run out of all those after she had texted him the very next day after she had said those words to him. But he hadn't replied or acknowledged her apology. He had refused to pick her calls as well, and had she not overheard Andre discussing with him over the phone, she would have had cause for alarm.
