“I will be fine Isa, it’s just a minor cold” I’ve been trying to convince Isa since she came in here this morning that I already lost count of how many times I said that but she was too worried about me to take any of it.

“ if you don’t want to see the pack doctor then let me make you some herbal tea” she suggested

“You know how to make them?” I asked

“Yes my lady, my mother used to specialize in different kinds of herbs” she explained but I couldn’t help but notice the use of past tense, was she not practicing anymore?

“Used to?” I Decided to ask. She sighed sadly before looking down and up again.

“Yes my lady, she died three years ago,” she said

“Oh no, I’m so sorry about that,” I said trying to console her.

“It’s no problem, my lady, it’s been long and I’ve gotten over it,” she said with an obviously forced smile.
