A knock on the door interrupted their conversation. With a deep frown and annoyance, Alden grunted.

" It's Martin. I heard Cisca is awake." He said.

" Come in." He replied with a gruff voice.

Martin stared around the room as he wondered why the reception was poor," I think I should give you a minute." He snuck a glance at Alden who refused to acknowledge him.

Cisca waved her hand, " Nonsense. It's fine. I'm glad you came to visit." She replied.

" Yeah. I came as soon as I heard." He said stiffly as he watched the monitor, her heart was beating well. " Does your hand hurt?"
