Nick ran his hand through his black hair, he had forgotten all about that other case, because of Gonzalez’s case. Now that assassin was at it again, and from the little intel he had gathered. That particular assassin only operated once a week.

Somehow, he felt the death of the person the assassin had killed was his fault, if only Angelina hadn’t been shot, she could have been handling it. He was starting to see the usefulness of a partner, all his life he worked alone; breaking cases and turning in culprits all by himself.

Who would have thought that all these would happen, things that were so complicated that he needed a partner, and Nathe had showed him just how helpful a partner was.
