OUTSMARTING THE DETECTIVE

“Honestly, the previous night; i went to the bar to drink away my sorrows, and i got drunk. I’m still wondering how i got home. I woke up suddenly very early this morning, and i was about heading to the bathroom, when the bullet went by the side of my ear. It was a near death experience, it’s God’s grace that I’m still here,” Simon paused, he looked at the cop to see his reaction; all what he just narrated was true. He hadn’t gotten to the part where he needed to add the lies.

He wondered why he kept bumping into this particular cop, because of this; the police might have to put patrol around his house and that wouldn’t be good, Simon wasn’t sure what Freddy was up to. He still had no idea who wanted him dead, but it was still certain to him that it wasn’t Freddy. The only way to find out was to confront Freddy.
