TASTE OF WHISKEY

Diana gasped as she heard the sound of Simon crashing to the ground. She should have been more alerted, he was drunk. Julia and the unknown man were also staring at the direction; surprise was written all over Julia’s face but not on the man’s. He expected it, and he was happy it happened. At least it’d make Diana lose interest in him, there was no way a beautiful lady would want to be with a drunkard.

But it seems he was wrong, or maybe he was judging to quickly.

Diana rushed quickly out of the bartender’s section, Julia didn’t move an inch; the surprise had left her face too. It wasn’t new, it happened every time, the unexpectedness made her surprise. And it’d disrupt such a glorious conversation, she was waiting so anxiously for Diana’s reply, her response was needed and Julia wanted to hear it.
