I knew I was in trouble for lying to Royal and not calling him but I couldn't do so with Charles in my apartment so I decided to call him in the morning after Charles left.

"Do you really have to go?" I asked as Charles pulled me closer by my waist and planted a kiss on my lips.

He smirked. "I wish we could stay in your room forever but I have a company to run and you…have a boss to report to" He said and I rolled my eyes.

I was sleeping with the boss and it felt just right.

"Fine," I said.

"I do need a change of clothes, we should have breakfast at my place" He suggested and I should call Royal.

"Uh…why don't you go and I'll meet you in the office?" I asked and his brows creased.

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

Everything is wrong, except you.

"No" I smiled. "I promise" I said and immediately a loud banging was heard at the front door.

We both whipped our heads toward the door and at the same time, my heart skipped. I began to pray it wasn't Royal.
