"I've been trying to reach her, and she isn't picking," I said to Chloe who was woken up by the whole commotion.

"I think this is a ploy to get you to her apartment. I mean she came off really strong on me yesterday and I don't like it," Chloe said, and I looked at her with my face scrunched up.
