"O...Kay. So uh, when are we going? Where are we even going?" I asked.
"There's one mall down the street, it's not far from here. We'll go tomorrow in my car, is that fine with you?" He asked me, standing up from the bed.
"Uh, yeah. Yeah, it's fine." I said. Going somewhere with Daniel in his sleek car wasn't something I ever planned on doing but, hey, I can't even plan my own life anymore. I tried to move away from him and Adam and here I am, in the same room with him, and his house is just a few meters from mine.
What if Adam found out?
"Hey, I should go help that old man. He looks kind of weak, wouldn't want him doing everything for us." Daniel said and headed out the door.
'Us.' I liked the sound of that.
"He doesn't like being called weak though," I told Daniel as he walked out of the room.
I didn't think he heard me though.

"She lives here now. Could you go outside for a bit, I'll see you - ""Hey...Emily," Daniel's girlfriend beamed at me, taking a sit on the couch closest to the door. She crossed her legs and rested her chin on her fists. She stared at me."Uh, hi. You're Ashley, I guess." I said to her. Daniel looked a bit uneasy. I didn't understand why."Yeah, and you're Emily. You just got married some days back, didn't you?" She asked, making my smile freeze on my face as I tried to chuckle it off. Of course she just had to mention my wedding. I didn't feel like talking about it so I nodded yes to her."Ah, I see. And your husband, how's he faring?" She asked.Shit.Daniel immediately rose from his seat. "Uh, Ashley we need to go now. Thanks, Emily, I'll come back later."Ashley frowned. "You didn't even let us finish our chitchat." She whined,
I turned over in bed and let out a small groan. I rubbed my face, shifting my legs from their original position, expecting to meet another set of hard, hairy legs but my feet connected with the wall instead.Where did Adam...Oh.I sighed as my brain replayed the events of yesterday to me. I was alone. Alone in bed. Alone in the house. But not alone in the neighborhood like I used to feel in Adam's house. Daniel was just next door, I could see him any time I wanted.Opening my eyes, I put my hand over my lips as a yawn escaped my mouth.I looked around the room. I felt so alone. Nobody was in bed with me, or in the room with me. I could do whatever I wanted. Great.I lifted the large, fluffy duvet off of my body as I placed my feet on the cold wooden floor. I sighed again, getting up from the bed. I felt strong, different. I'd never slept like that befo
He just called me beautiful. What? Daniel called me beautiful? And I was still here, between his legs, eating bacon? He handed the plate of bacon to me. I got up from the floor and went to sit at the nearest sofa, gently eating the delicious bacon again. My heartbeat returned to normal as I got a bit distant from him again. Why did I feel like that around him? I was pregnant, and still married, how could I let him make me feel like that?"So, how did your first night here go?" He asked, and I was glad he talked because I didn't want to eat in awkward silence."It was different." I replied, chewing on the bacon in my mouth. It tasted really good."Different-good or different-bad?" He asked, raising an eyebrow."Definitely the good one. It was peaceful. Very peaceful, but I felt a little lonely when I woke up." I told him."Why?" He asked, and I held up a
My cheeks turned pink and I felt the heat spread around my face. Adam called me beautiful. How could he think I was beautiful when I was pregnant and had all these wrinkles on my face?Man, I really needed to fix my wrinkle insecurities.Daniel inserted the key into the keyhole, next to the black steering wheel and started the car, keeping one hand on the steering wheel. He beckoned on me to use my seatbelt which I tried to, but was having problems due to my huge stomach. He smiled at me and turned to help me. My cheeks reddened yet again as his fingertips made contact with my bare arms. I didn't understand why I reacted this way to his touch. I heard a click and looked down and saw that he had secured the seatbelt in its hole...or whatever they call those things you put the seatbelt stuff in.He returned to his seat and put the gear to D, which I figured to mean drive since I never drove. Adam refused to teach me
After we paid for the phone and got of the mall, it immediately occurred to me that I hadn't gotten any groceries, and other stuff I'd need in the house. I told Daniel this as we got into the car but he told me not to worry, that he knew a better place for us to shop for groceries and stuff. We drove off the mall with me staring down at my new phone."What are you staring at it for? Turn it on!" Daniel urged and I placed my thumb on the side button, pressing and holding it in for a few seconds. The screen came on immediately."It's on." I announced to Daniel, and he gave me a thumbs up in reply. I started at the expensive piece of shit in my hand. It wasn't literally shit, I mean I liked it and all but I found it a little too pricey. All that money just do I could make calls and receive texts? The home screen popped up and it was a picture of a fish. I was so changing that later. I have to set the thing up first.
I turned to look at Daniel in utter surprise. He chuckled as the car slowed to a halt. Was he really going to teach me to drive right now?Right on the highway?!Daniel unbuckled his seatbelt but left the engine on. "What the heck are you doing?!" I yelled. Was he okay? Had he drunk anything today?"Getting down so we can switch seats." He simply replied, with his cool, sexy voice as if everything was okay.Everything was not okay!"You can't let me..." He was already out of the vehicle, slamming the door shut. In a moment, he appeared at my side of the car and opened the door. Was he actually serious? He was actually going through with this? Was he?"Come on, come out." He said, opening the door wider but I refused to get off the car. I was not ready to die now."Daniel, what are you doing?!" I yelled again, as some cars sped by us noisi
"Hey, what the…!" Daniel shouted as we both bent forward by the impulse of the car. I immediately slammed my feet on the brakes again, bringing the car to an abrupt stop right in the middle of the road."Uh…I think I'll better take the wheel." Daniel slowly said and opened the door, he got greeted with hundreds of loud honks as I quickly opened the door to walk out but quickly closed it again because of the oncoming vehicle. When it passed, I reopened the door and hopped out, quickly walking to the other side of the car as Daniel hopped into the drivers seat. I entered the passengers seat and closed the door as Daniel pressed his feet on the accelerator, making the car move forward with a nice, slow speed."Uhm, unless I want to die, remind me never to let you drive again." Daniel joked but I didn't laugh."Deal." I said. This was all a bad idea in the first place even. Well, at least I got one good lesson
"Wait, popcorn? What do you need that for?" I asked, amused at his request."No, not me. You. You'll need the popcorn." He answered."Me? Why? Its not like we're about to watch a movie or some- wait, it's because of what you're about to tell me, right?" I asked him."Yep." He said, popping the P."O...Kay well I don't have popcorn. Will you just tell me already?" I asked, curiosity already eating me up. Why did I even need popcorn to listen to his story? Daniel is just too funny sometimes."You sure you don't want popcorn? It really adds to the - ""Come on, I don't. Tell me now." I demanded."Okay," he cleared his throat and left his sofa, joining me on mine. He faced me and began saying his story, "so I, myself moved here around five years ago. Then this house hadn't even been constructed yet, only my house over there,
