Goddess Landa's POV

Deep into that argument with my beloved son, my body suddenly felt as if something had left it. Perplexed by it, my eyes which had just become heavy, went back to the face of Whadh who seemed to be in a similar pain as mine.

"Tell me you didn't just feel something strong leave of your body."

"Tell me you didn't just hit me with your fear, Mother. Tell me that I'm safe to open my eyes and not get blown away."

Hearing him pour down a little of his pain, which he wouldn't let anyone see, the urge to squeeze his cute heart in my shell, drenched me.

"I would never do any harm to you with my light, my son. Rather, your mother will lay down her life for you in a heartbeat." Every part of my body vibrated, and it got quite hard to keep it down from turning it into tears.
