Sally's POV

"To town."

"For what?" He asked like an annoying cop.

I clenched my jaw, breathing slowly, trying to calm down. "Breathe the air."

Darius's eyebrows raised, curious. "Air? There's a lot of it here. Why do you need to go to town?"

I groaned, frustrated. "I can't breathe with people looking at me, especially watching them argue while I sit and do nothing. And what is that mysterious letter you're keeping from me? Did my grandmother lock her in her office? What the hell is going on?"

My point was made clear when I saw the car keys in his hand when Roland threw them at him.

"I'll tell you after you get some air. Let's go." He gestured to the passenger seat. "Please inform Mrs. Willow that I will be taking Sally out." He advised Roland.
