Ninety-One

Sally's POV

After returning from capture, I had another life-or-death duel with one of Darius's men. Hopefully, he wouldn't be hurt as much as the first person stabbed by my sword, but I was wrong. Darius's man was stabbed in the stomach by my short sword, nearly killing him, and it was my fault.

Soon after, my grandmother kept me away from physical violence, well, any kind of violence that involved fists and weapons. And guided me around town, but of course, still protected and watched. I don't mind that, I need this too, I guess.

With the time I spent in Paris and away, I forgot all the things that happened here. Deep down, I knew I forgave him and got over it. I mean, yes, my parents' graves are sacred to me, but eventually, people are bound to find out about that. I was too emotional to cope at that time.

I miss Athena, a lot, but I don't think she'll want to forgive me for the things I said to her before I left. The walk even made me realize how much I miss the boys too, they are
