When I open my eyes, the sun is shining across the plush duvet covering my body. I immediately reach out for Michael but my hands brush against the cool empty sheets instead of his warm body. " ETHAN ! " I flinch open my eyes, screaming. I pant hard looking around in terror, sweat beads running down my forehead. It's really dark around and I can barely see a wall in front of me in the dim light coming from my left.
