46. I'm all set ready to be the model
Nate’s POV
I'm relieved Ethan don't have any problem with me. Yesterday I was really worried as he purposefully ignored me the whole day. He didn't even look in my direction when he walked into the Calculus class and he didn't join us for lunch. I thought he would continue to ignore me the rest of the year.
But he talked to me and behaved really normally morning. And at lunch he joined us like usual and chatted with Grace, Gavin and Milan happily. He doesn't actually seem that sad about my rejection. He didn't talk to me much, though. And he didn't actually look at me during lunch. I was side eying him the whole time. I hope he really decided to move on.But something pains me. He stopped calling me Michael. He won't call me Michael anymore. Just Nate, Nate like everyone else. I quickly broke the eye contact and looked away proceeding to take out my pencils. " So you are using water colour ?", he asked. " No..I don't think water colour would w..work well with eyes. I'm using C..colour pencils.", I replied taking out four skin tone pencils, a black and brown pencil from my pouch. " oh..I tried using colour pencils last year. But it didn't work well with me. I couldn't do the shading and mixing properly. Also the pencil quality was low. At last I gave up.", he sighed looking at the pencils in my hand. " Hmm..maybe I'll use oil paint. But will I be able to wonderfully copy down your Gorgeous blue eyes with oil paint ? I'm not sure." My heart skipped a beat at that. He had told me last day that my eyes are Gorgeous. Nate's POV" Mom..just let me sleep some more time..", I groaned and squirmed uncomfortably after yanking away the two hands which were shaking me harshly whilst yelling my name in my ear. " C'mon, wake the fuck up Nate ! And I'm not your Mom ! I'm Grace ! Your roommate ! " Oh ! It was Grace ? And I just called her Mom ?? I flickered my eyelids open to see Grace standing in front of me wearing a track suit with matching top, her hair in a ponytail and her hands akimbo as she stared down at me a bit annoyed. Oh ! She is also wearing sneakers. Did she decide to go for jogging ? But she isn't fat or anything. I tilted my eyes and looked at the alarm clock on the small bedside table. It showed 6 : 10 Am. Then I looked back at Grace, squeezing my sleepy eyes and blinking it at her to see her properly. " Are you going for j..jogging ?", I asked. " Yeah and you too." " Me ??", I asked in surprise.

As I was on my third lap, I saw the two girls who were jogging in front of me, looking amusedly at the side steps, their heads almost completely tilted. They were also murmuring something between each other. Curious, I tilted my head to the right and the sight I saw there almost knocked me down. Seriously, I stumbled forward and almost tripped and fell. Cause Ethan was there sitting in his earlier position itself, but now top less and was staring intently in my direction whilst fanning himself with his jersey, revealing his perfect body freely to all those people who were running around. He didn't look away even after he realized I caught him staring at me. It was then I realized, basically I was also staring at him. I had stopped in track a few moments ago and was looking at his tanned chest and his perfect pack of abs and muscles. I can't say I was comparing his body with that of Alex's. I wasn't doing that. I was just gawking at Ethan.

I knocked on Ethan's room door and waited for him to open the door. My heart had already started beating fast. I don't even know how I'm gonna survive the next one or two hours. The next moment the door opened and Ethan grabbed my wrist. But instead of pulling me inside, he stepped forward, hurriedly closed the door behind and then he was running dragging me along with him. " H..Hey..what's happening?", I asked in shock and surprise as he ran dragging me with him through the corridor. " Shh..just come with me.", he said. " Leave me ! Stutter Boy 51. We were together in middle school
I sit on the bleachers beside Ethan, watching the volleyball game. It's ten minutes since the match started and Ethan is cheering loudly for our team. The rival team is actually strong and they are playing zealously. The scores are going back and forth ever too often. But currently our boys are leading for one point. I agree It's actually kind of thrilling to watch the boys bat the ball back and forth over the net. But I wonder, doesn't it hurt their hands when they hit the ball with so much strength ? I can never play this game. Anyway it's fun to watch. Our team is wearing red sleeveless Jersey tops and the opponents are in blue similar ones. So it's colourful to eyes. And most of the guys has impressive biceps and nice veiny arms. Their sleeveless jerseys expose it freely to the viewers. I guess all these dorm girls are actually here to watch that. They are all giggling and cheering looking at the boys. Even some are cheering for their favourite play
Stutter Boy 52. Ethan gives me butterflies?
"Finished ! ", Ethan finally says looking up at me whilst smiling. For the last two and a half hours he was drawing my eyes. Can you believe, he took TWO AND A HALF hours to finish the stupid drawing of my eyes ! Anyway I'm glad he at least finished now. Cause he was redrawing and redrawing. He was using the eraser more than the pencil. And after drawing for almost half an hour, he crumpled the paper and threw it away, making me baffled. Then he again started drawing. Then tore away the paper within the next five minutes. I instantly stood up from the chair saying, I'm going. But he grabbed my hands and promised me he will draw properly the next time. When I said I don't believe him, he gave me a drawing sheet and his pencils to draw his nose and lips for the next week's assignment, so that I can finish it by the time he finishes with my eyes. I at last sat down taking the sheet and pencils. Cause that way it won't become a waste

Ethan's POV I have my lamp on dim as I lie on my bed, waiting for sleep, my body turned completely towards the left where Michael is sleeping peacefully on Gavin's bed, his own previous bed. He has his beautiful almost ethereal face turned towards me, his right arm under his head, raising his face a little from the pillow, revealing to my eyes his perfect plump lips and long eyelashes resting on his pink cheeks. Wait, if I've to confess honestly, he was actually sleeping facing the other direction but after 11 PM, when he finally fell asleep, I slowly crawled out of my bed and carefully turned him, making him face my direction. Although I really wanted to lie beside him and hug him, I didn't do that cause he made me promise, I won't climb on his bed and then play octopus with him like I unconsciously did on our first night of encounter. Nate's POV " Hey Nate, will you be coming for tomorrow's party ? ", Andrea asked me as we walked out of the chemistry lab, evening after the two hour's practical. " Party ?? What p..party ?", I asked clueless. " Oh..you didn't know ? Our volleyball team is throwing a party at Noah's house tomorrow cause they won the match.", She said. " Oh..your best friend?", I asked. " Yeah..", She nodded. " Ethan and Gavin will be coming. So you also will be there, right ?" " Ahmm..I didn't g..get any invitation.", I replied. " Oh..you don't get any special invitation for that. Just come. Everyone will be there.", She said. "Let me see.", I replied, although I had already decided I wasn't going. I have never been to this kind of parties yet. But I know what it'd be like. Just drinking and dancing like crazy to heavy raucous music. Isn't that what is called party ? I'm clearly not interested.
