"Good morning." Mia chirp as I turn around on the bed opening my one eye and closing it again as the sun rays light up the room in a tactic to blind me. She looks well-rested and very eager. Exactly what I needed when I felt like a train ran me over and I can feel my heartbeat in my head. "Did you have fun last night?"

"No." I force my eyes open getting used to the light that surrounds her. I turn to my back quickly lifting my back from the bed and bending forward to grab her arm. I pull her onto the bed with me. "I missed you." I land a kiss on her lips when she falls onto the mattress.

"Oh my goodness. You stink." She pulls away from me giggling. She looks so much mugirlyounger than in the past few days. Yesterday did her very well. This is what she should look like daily. Not stressed and filled with vengeance and hate. Maybe I should rather treasure this side of Mia than put tension on the side she admitted to suppressing her whole life. "How much did you drink last night?"
