Chapter fifty one

Looks like I was wrong, I thought I could rely on Matthew but in the end it was best to rely on myself.

"Do you feel very sad because I taught you? I told you I don't care if it was someone else."

I still didn't turn around. I really wanted to look him in the eye and say I didn't need him but my tears betrayed me.

Moments later, I heard Matthew sigh and pull me into his lap. I resisted but his strength was very strong.

"Do you know why I'm mad at you?" Matthew sighed. "It's because you can't protect yourself but you always hide your problem from me, don't ask for my help. You're so injured and you don't even tell me, what if she finds you for revenge? You can beat her alone but what if she calls a bunch of people over?"

I still didn't answer, but instead cried and whimpered.

"Okay, stop crying, I'm sorry for shouting at you. You don't have to worry about this anymore. I'll take care of it for you." Matthew said as he raised his hand to wipe my tears.
