Chapter one hundred and forty-one

When Matthew returned, I was asleep. I guessed he was in a hurry to see me because I heard his gasp. Matthew was a very polite and gentle person, he would not walk so fast that he had to breathe so hard.

Even though I knew Matthew had returned, I still didn't open my eyes, but quietly listened to the little noises he made. Those noises were like dunes, making me more sleepy.
