An interesting Monday night.

"Who…. Who are you? Are you perhaps my guardian angel?". Susie questioned with curiosity while the tall guy slightly frowned at her before trying to leave.

Susie quickly grabbed his arm as she wasn't ready to let him leave without knowing who he was. She asked again, "At least I'd like to know your name. My name is Susie. What's your name handsome?".

The tall guy released Susie's hand from holding his strong arm. He was still slowly blinking his eyes when he sighed and massaged his temple with his fingers. He simply said, "You can call me, Jake".

Jake stared at the unconscious thugs on the floor and was certain that it'd probably take them some hours before they regained consciousness. Meaning that there was enough time for Susie to escape and return back home. Jake also stared at Susie one last time before he left.
