Chapter 88: Lost In The City

"Hello Chris."

I was in my chair, in the office at the pack house, staring at the man with hard, unforgiving eyes as he sat across from me, body hunched over in fear.

Lannon and Ernouf stood on either side of him, ready to carry out any orders I gave.

"You said three days, Chris."

"Yes, Mr… Sir," he sharply changed words when he threw a glance at the men standing over him.

"Where is my wife? You said three days, five at the most. But it's been two weeks. Two fucking weeks!" I banged my fist on the table and he looked even more scared of the possibilities.

I had no doubt this man knew what men of my power were capable of. Even if he didn't know what I was. That I or either of the two men beside him could tear him apart with our claws deep in his chest.

He hadn't found her. And he'd had the nerve to run with my money.

I'd waited and waited for news on Faye, but had gotten nothing. Only to find him lounging in a resort, with my money as he planned on flying out too.
