Chapter twenty Two

I had few strands of my hair pulled to the back, as I watched him walk towards me by the hallway.

“I've had that a long time ago,” he said pointing to the frame as he had a smile on his face.

I stare into the frame in front of me wondering how long they had them pasted on the wall.

I felt his presence next to mine by the wall as I took a deep breath, trying hard not to think about what had happened earlier today.

“It's beautiful” I said with my eyes still locked in the picture in front of us.

As we both stood there in silence, I heard heavy footsteps coming our way by the hallway and then I assumed it to be one of the guards.

But apparently it was his beta.

Beta Henry had his eyes on us as he held out a scroll waving to Alpha Damon.

I hated how it was he made my wolf growl at the sight of him coming towards us.

And from that instant, I knew Alexa didn't like him at all.

But I wondered why.
