Arnou sat behind his large oak desk in his dimly lit office, engulfed in his thoughts of pack matters. He had been consumed by paperwork and pressing issues, barely even noticing the passing of time. His mind has been wrapped in lot of thoughts that weighed him down, thinking of Daciana his future with her and her baby.

He for a certain that he didn't love her or anything, but he knew she intrigued and amazed him lately. He found himself getting lost just staring at her as she laughed with Selena. And he didn't also miss the sudden closeness between Daciana and Daniel. He wasn't jealous and he knew that.

There was no way he was having feelings for her.

Suddenly, a knock at the door brought him back to reality.

"Come in," Arnou said in a gruff voice, his gaze fixed on the piles of paperwork awaiting his attention.

The door opened, revealing the pack's Physician, Mr. Almond. He was a man of middle age, with graying hair and a gentle demeanor that masked his years of experience in his pr
