Lillith pushed past one of the guards standing by the door leading to the dungeon. She didn't even bother listening to him as all she was concerned about was Melissa. It didn't matter if it was going to take her to tear down the cage to bring her out and humiliate her. She wanted to do it.

She saw no reason why Melissa would come for her child. She walked down the stone-walled corridor, not minding if it was dark until she found a familiar body seated on the floor with her head between her legs.

Lillith stopped in front of the fire and stared at Melissa for a long time. Her stare was filled with so much hatred and angst and when Melissa finally raised her head to look at her, she hissed.

Melissa leaned against the wall with a smile on her face. "You're here. I was expecting to see you. I thought you had no guts,"
