The next morning, Lillith woke up with tears in her eyes and to someone in her room.

At first, she thought she was still having a dream. In her dream, her mother had come into her room, taken a seat by her bed and slowly, she had started to stroke her cheek lovingly.

She was really happy to see her mother after several long years. Right after her parent's death, she had dreamt of them both. Over the months, her father disappeared and a few weeks later, she stopped having dreams about them.

But tonight was the first night in years. And her mother was smiling this time. She didn't have that look of horror on her face as she gasped for breath and gave up the ghost.

They had spoken for a while— mother to daughter. And Lillith hadn't failed to tell her every detail of her life. She was sad, she was in great danger and her life didn't turn out the way she wanted it to.

Her mother's last words before she woke up were; "I believe you can do anything. You're strong,
