As soon as Delilah left, Lillith broke down into tears. This was the end for her.

She didn't need a soothsayer to tell her that Delilah wasn't going to keep to her promise and as she sobbed, the door opened.

She immediately stood to her feet, wiping her tears off. A maid walked in. She was taken aback by how tattered Lillith looked and no one had to tell her that something had gone wrong.

"Alpha Leon requests for your presence. He wants you to get cleaned up and dressed."

Leon was seated in the drawing room with the elders that supported him. He had spoken to them privately after their last meeting and they met this morning.

"I have called you three privately and that is because I trust you," He said as he looked from one man to the other. "And I hope there won't be any reason for me not to. You were all around to witness the assassination of my parents and you know why I am back here,"
