I read the text message and sighed, I wasn't avoiding Alaina on purpose it's just that the feelings I have for her are strong and I don't know how to tell her; I'm not good with rejection and I know if she says she doesn't feel the same way our friendship is never going to be the same.

I shook my head at the lie, but what else am I supposed to say "oh Alaina I have really strong feelings for you and I wanna be your boyfriend even though he consider me a best friend or even a brother" I thought to myself she would probably laugh in my face
