AUTHOR'S POV

"Anita sent me here." He cried out and Damini hooked him again to the chair.

" What were your plans?" He asked, and Roderic fidgeted, hesitancy clouding his expression.

" Answer me." Damini demanded, as he held him at his throat.

" Nothing yet. She was meant to give me a signal when she arrives." He managed to ground out.

" Is that all?" Damini asked. Anita would keep her leeches in places so that her evil plans are carried out effectively.

" What did she promise you?" He asked.

" A piece of gold." Roderick replied.

" Good, see the gold in the great beyond." Roderick got shocked to death. If he allowed him to keep roaming who was to guarantee that he wouldn't accomplish his mission the second time. Speaking of missions, he had not heard anything from Conan and Rocky. He decided to visit them.

" Has Anita been captured?" He asked.

" No, she hasn't been spotted any where yet. We were told that she landed in Russia and flew out back the same day." Rocky replied.
