Nancy rolled her eyes. He was on point, but she didn't want to admit because there's no need to do that now. He already chose someone else.

"You already chose someone else back then. What's the use of trying to analyze my feelings for you?" Nancy asked.

"It's because you are trying so hard to pretend that you don't feel anything for me. You know that it's a lie. You've stayed here as a maid for so long because this gives you the opportunity to see me. Even though it's painful, you still want to see me so you're willing to suffer through the pain" Nolan said. He seemed to be trying to convince himself of Nancy's love.
