Amara hid all the pieces of evidence she had. Diana had been arriving and leaving frequently, and Anita noticed her indifference whenever marriage was mentioned.

"Don't you want to get married anymore?" Anita asked her on one of her visits.

"I want to," Diana answered back.

"II can't wait for you to be baroness," Anita said, noticing that she wasn't geared up. The light had gone out of her eyes.

"What is wrong with you?" She asked.

"Nothing, your highness. The doctor said I have to recover fully before thinking about anything." She said. Anita couldn't say anything about it.

Diana has been rumored not to eat anything in the pack house.

"You haven't been eating. I hope you're alright?" Anita asked, and Diana regarded her coolly. "I have been asked to be careful about poisoning." She replied, and Anita knew she was referring to her.

"Why don't you come out straight? You spent more than six months here; why is poisoning coming up now?" She asked.
