Old Mr. and Mrs. Higginson were so happy when they met Ace. The boy was surprised to see the couple as well. He was very happy when he found out about his cousin, who was only three years old—the same little girl who was with the old couple in the amusement park.
Jace was happy to see how the important people in his life were getting along well. There’s only one problem, Emerald. He and Ace were in his room and were about to sleep when the boy asked, “Daddy, do you love Mommy?” He felt relieved when Emerald agreed to let their son sleep in his parents' mansion.
Young Higginson was stunned, not because he didn’t know how he would answer his son but more because he was worried that their son was thinking about him and Emerald. “Why do you ask?”
“I love my grannies, uncle
“I know Emerald will forgive me eventually,” Jace told Kyle. They were in his office, and his friend was worried after finding him in deep thought.“Of course, she will. And you’re lucky that your son likes you.” Kyle replied, making Jace nod and smile. He told him what Ace had been doing to give him and EMerald time to be together.“I just hope that our plan will work. Ace had been serious about getting me and Emerald back together, so I didn't want his efforts to go to waste, either."“You can’t blame your son. He wanted to have a complete family, and after calling Liam daddy for a long time, I think his happiness now that he’s finally met you is beyond what we can imagine.” Jace thought the same thing. Whenever he looked at his son, he saw a free-spirite
Jace rushed to catch up with Emerald and stopped her after their meeting, “I’ll send you to your company.” he said. “I’ll just get my car key,”“I’ll just call a cab.” Emerald insisted.“Please, Emerald. Let me do this for you.” Jace said, pleading. Young Morgan didn’t say anything and just sighed before nodding. Young Higginson grabbed her hands and pulled her into the elevator.“What are you doing?”“I need to get my car key, and I’m afraid that you will leave if I leave you even for a second, so I’ll bring you to my office, and we will go together in the parking lot,” Jace answered.“I didn’t know you hav
“Don’t give headaches to your grandparents, okay?” Emerald reminded her son. Jace went to their house to fetch the boy. It’s Friday, and Ace will stay at the Higginson for the whole weekend.“Yes, Mommy”, the boy replied happily. He enjoyed being at his grandparents' house because of his little cousin whom he was playing with. Emerald smiled and kissed Ace before handing Jace his bag of clothes.“Please take care of him,” Young Morgan told Jace, who was taking the bag from her.“Of course,” he replied, smiling. “Say goodbye to Mommy,” he told his son.“Bye, Mom!” the boy said excitedly and clung to his father’s hand, which was holding his bag.
In the Higginson mansion, Jace was thinking about his wife. All day, his thoughts were on young Morgan and what she was doing. The problem in her company bothers him as well, and he wants to help and comfort her and be the person who will stay on her side at her most difficult time. To prevent him from going crazy, he decides to go and see his wife.“Son, can you sleep with your grannies for tonight?” Jace asked. The urge to see his wife became evident, and he thought he would never get rest if he didn’t see her and assured her that she was fine.“Alright, Dad. But let me give you this.” the boy replied and got off the bed to get his bag. Ace took some keys and handed them to his father. “The guards knew you, so they would let you in, but the house is locked during this time."Jace smiled at his son before he took the keys. He also got up from his bed and carried little Ace to bring him to his parents’ bedroom.“Are you going to leave?” Jessica asked his son.“I want to check on Emera
“Mr. Higginson, please take this,” Daryl told Jace as he handed him the cotton swab and alcohol to clean his wounds. His fight with Liam is intense, and they are both huge and equally strong.“Thank you,” he said while glaring at Emerald, who was putting some ointment on Liam’s wounds. He was very jealous, thinking he should be the one his wife was taking care of. Although he was the one who started the fight, he justified his actions by being married to her.“Is there anywhere that you’re hurt?” Emerald asked Liam as she continuously looked at his face and arms.“Why are you so concerned about him?” Young Higginson asks like a child, but Emerald ignores him, and he doesn't like it. “Are you not going to answer me?” he adds.
“You take care of my Mommy, Daddy Liam,” Ace said when he was about to ride in the car. He kissed his mom goodbye, even though he wanted Emerald to ride with them in his father’s car.“No problem, young man. You know I’ll do that even if you don’t remind me.” Liam replied, smiling. He will take Emerald to her office, and Jace will send Ace to school.“You take care, dear,” Emerald said, waving her hand at her son before she went to her car with Liam on the driver's side.On the other hand, Jace gets furious after hearing his son call Liam Daddy. However, he knew Ace was still too young to understand him and that the man had not done anything wrong to harm his son. He gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles white, as he navigated through the familiar rout
“M, are you alright?” Creep asked when he noticed Emerald looking at a distance.“Huh?” young Morgan said, looking at him and Daryl alternately unaware of what they say.“You look so disturbed; what is it? Did something happen in the Software Group?” Daryl asked.“No, nothing. Everything’s good there, and I think we will be able to finish the game in no time.” Young Morgan replied immediately. It was the truth; everything ran smoothly in her team, but she was only troubled by what Jace had told her.“Then what were you thinking? I’ve been discussing some things here, and we can’t get a response from you,” her friend Creep asked, concerned.&ld
WARNING!! MATURE CONTENT!!“Let’s talk Emerald.”“We’re done talking. How many times do I need to tell you that?” she replied as she put down her hair blower. She’s still in her robe and is worried that something might happen to them.“Is Liam still staying here?’“Yes.”“Tell him to get his place to stay in. I didn’t like him here.”“This is my house, Jace. If I let you come here, why would I not let him?”“Do you know how much I think ab
