"Nice! Nice try, bro. But drop that joke," Ramil broke the silence that enveloped us after Josh asked who I was.

"What try? What joke?" Josh asked Ramil, confused.

"I'm serious. Who is she? Who are they?" Josh pointed at me and Veron.

"Get it together, bro. This isn't funny—"

"You get it together," Josh quickly interrupted Byron, then looked at me again. His gaze was far different from how he used to look at me. It was as if my presence confused him deeply. It was as if he had forgotten everything about me—everything about us.
