Selena

I found myself driving Daniel downtown to meet his aunt, Sylvia, for a mafia meeting. I was apprehensive about the situation, but I knew I had to support him during this difficult time. The car ride was mostly silent, with occasional glances exchanged between us, each laden with unspoken words.

When we arrived at Sylvia's place, I was surprised by the warm welcome we received. Sylvia was a woman of strength, her eyes sharp and observant, but there was a kindness in her demeanor that put me at ease. She ushered us inside, offering us seats in her elegantly furnished living room.

"Daniel, my dear nephew," Sylvia began, her voice smooth and commanding. "I've heard about your recent loss. I'm truly sorry for your mother's passing. She was a remarkable woman."
