Heaven's POV:

Taking the reins as the new leader wasn't going to be a walk in the park, especially considering the disgruntled mafias under my command. But I needed to assert my authority, and that meant calling for a meeting.

As I entered the dimly lit room, the air thick with tension, I could feel the collective gaze of the powerful figures that surrounded me. Frank Lan, the head of the Japan Mafia, was the first to voice his discontent.

"What makes you think you can lead us, Heaven?" he sneered, his tone dripping with arrogance.

I didn't flinch, meeting his gaze with unwavering confidence. "Because I understand the game better than any of you. Loyalty is earned, not inherited."

The room buzzed with murmurs, but I pressed on. "I won't tolerate insubordination. Those who question my authority will face consequences."

Frank Lan chuckled, a derisive tone in his voice. "Consequences? You're just a kid playing dress-up. We won't take orders from you."
