Axion pushed Phoenix off and stormed out. He was fuming in rage and his was aching badly. He got to the garden and stopped, ruffling his hair in frustration.

" How could she give our child to that Devil just that easily? What the fuck was she thinking?! " He yelled angrily. Crouching to the beach, he face-palmed himself and started crying.

While still crying, he felt a hand on his shoulder prompting him to look up only to see Corbin standing beside him. He looked away, sniffing back his tears. Corbin stretched out a handkerchief which he reluctantly accepted.

" Do you want to talk about it? " Corbin spoke up after a moment of silence.

" Why did she strike such a deal with that monster? What is going to happen to my child now? " Axion blurted out. Corbin sighed and settled beside him.
