Oscar's anger boiled, the red hot fire of rage coursing through his veins. He paced around his room, the heels of his boots clacking against the wooden floorboards, his steps growing quicker and more erratic with each stride. He stopped abruptly and slammed his fist against the wall, the sudden impact shaking the entire room. The wall cracked, a gaping hole appearing in the center. The noise got Blair's attention and he came running, appearing in the doorway with a concerned look on his face. "What happened?" he asked, and Oscar explained. "The King has imprisoned Mr Kaleb, my ally in the kingdom," he said, his voice quivering with anger. "He was going to help me bring the King down from the inside. Now my plans for revenge will be a lot harder to succeed." Blair let out a low whistle as he took in the information. "That's a tough break," he said. "But you know, Oscar, this isn't the end. You can still find a way to make it work. You just need to be creative. Think outside the box.

Blair laughed heartily at Amelia's words, not caring for the pain it was causing her. He said it as if it was something amusing, as if Augustra's pain meant nothing. Amelia was taken aback by his callousness and her face began to flush with anger. She could feel her tears welling up, but she fought them back, refusing to show any emotion. "You don't understand," she said quietly. "He loves me and I love him. He would do anything to keep me safe and if he thought I was dead, it would hurt him more than you can imagine." Blair scoffed at Amelia's words, not caring to understand her point of view. He waved his hand dismissively, as if her words meant nothing. "It's better for us if he thinks you're dead, at least until we can attack. He'll be far more vulnerable that way. Surely, you can see the logic in that," he said. The Alpha King Augustra stormed down to the dungeon, his cape billowing behind him. He was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery that had been unraveling in his kingdom for weeks. He had to find out why his two prisoners, Oscar, his beta wolf that had betrayed him and Tabitha, his mistress who had tried to kill his Luna, had been released. He had been questioning everyone he could as to who had released them, but no one seemed to know. As he reached the dungeon, he could feel the tension in the air. The guard ran frantically into the throne room, his face contorted in panic. He was carrying a box, its contents unknown. His eyes darted between Blair and Oscar, and he said in a strained voice, "It's from the rival alpha king Augustra".Confusion flashed across both Blair and Oscar's faces. Oscar stepped forward, but Blair reached the guard first and snatched the box from his hands. He stood tall and ripped open the box, his face suddenly frozen. Oscar stormed out of Blair's throne room, spitting out the door with disgust. Blair's relentless, stubborn demeanor had gotten to him this time, and he wondered if he'd be able to work with him anymore. Oscar had thought he could control Blair and make him his puppet in his battle for the Alpha's place with Augustra, but Blair had become too hot headed for his own good.
