Chapter 13

The elders and other members of the pack had been waiting for the king in the throne room but he had not come. They had sat there for over thirty minutes, but he still had not come. Someone had suggested that the next in line, The Beta Wolf be sent to find the king and remind him of the meeting.

Oscar had been sent to find the King, so he set off to search the King's room. But, to his dismay, he found the room was empty. "Where could this bastard be?" He said as he murmured under his breath

"What kind of king forgets he had a meeting with his pack?" He mumbled again, then he sighed.

He slowly began roaming the hall, asking anyone he could find if they had seen the King. "Has anyone seen the king?"

"No Sire. No one has seen him since morning. We will be on the lookout"

After tallking to several of the castle staff, he eventually received an answer. One of the maids he had asked said she had seen the King entering Luna's new room.
