CHAPTER 28: NAUGHTY GIRL 1

ALPHA'S POV

I felt the tension and the confusion as we drove

in silence for what felt like hours. I checked the time and saw that we'd only

been driving for six minutes. It was Gerry who broke the silence.

"Gabz, are you ok?" He asked as he spun

his head around to get a better look at her.

She was still huddled to Carson.

I've never seen Carson behave so animalistic,

other than when he was on the battlefield.

I just hoped that dick-head doesn't die. That's

one problem I wouldn't be able to fix. We couldn't allow ourselves to get mixed

up in human affairs, we'd risk exposure.

Carson growled at Gerry!

When male wolves find their mates, they become

overly protective of her. The higher in rank that werewolf is, the more intense

his protective nature is towards his mate. Carson's a beta, that's second to an

Alpha. His protective nature is going to be brutal.

Gabrielle better be ready!

I know being the Alpha, if I find my mate, I'm

going to be ten times worse than Carson.
