ALPHA'S POV

"What's wrong Alpha?" Carson asked.

"Cleo just told me she found her mate."

Cleo was now eyeing Carson waiting for him to

explode.

"Really? Who?" He asked. He sounded

relieved.

What the fuck? That's not the reaction I was

expecting.

"It's the guy in the front," I used my

eyes to point at Gerard, but of course, Carson would misread my signal.

"Kenny? But Kenny is like 100-years-old and

he already has a mate," Carson scratched the top of his head in confusion.

"What? I'm forty-five," Kenny laughed

shaking his head at Carson's stupidity.

I squeezed the bridge of my nose while I spoke.

"No, you idiot! Not Kenny. It's Gerard. Gerard is her mate."

"Gerry? Is this true Cleo?" Carson asked

Cleo through the link.

"Yes, Carson. It's true."

The girls were looking at each other like they

were having some kind of a private conversation with their eyes.

"What is it, Hazel?" I asked.

"When you guys say mate, do you mean like

friends?"
