Sebastian’s POV

“You will come begging, Jasmine!” I yelled into the empty space of my living room.

In return, it echoed. Nothing seemed to go right after Talia. It was like she came into my life, robbed me of my peace, and sneaked out with it. I was bored and devastated and lonely. Better put, I was depressed.

“I will be here waiting!” I poured a generous amount of tequila into a glass I was holding and gulped half the content at a go.

"Argh!" I groaned, containing the bitterness and the strong taste of the alcohol.

It was nothing compared to the pain I felt when I knew I traded my only true love for a slimy piece of shit. And I felt more pained when eight years later, she had a lover and three beautiful kids, and I had a sad story. A perfect rekindle.

"You'd be mine, soon.” I smiled a knowing smile.

Can't of my sad reality, I had just three days to the deadline, and I was yet to convince her or buy her over fully. The meeting at her place didn't go as much as expected, and if
