Chapter Eighty-seven

“We need to talk Liam!”

“No, I’m busy right now.” He tried to push past Roy but he stood his ground, staring ahead doggedly. “I’ve got classes man, can we do this later?”

Kristine looked from the two brothers and swallowed, “Uh, Liam, Roy. I’ll see you some other time.”

Roy only gave a short nod while Liam lightly kissed her.

Before she left the apartment, she squeezed Roy’s hand, “I missed you. I hope you settled whatever this is as soon as possible.”

The hard look in his eyes softened a little and he turned to look at her, “I missed you too Kris…My lunchtime at the office is so lonely without you.”
