Chapter Sixty-Seven

After Roy left, Cain tore off the sheet that he’d been lying on and threw it on the ground like trash, then lay down on himself, curled up like this, and fell asleep.

When Roy walked downstairs, he reached for his phone, but unfortunately, the battery was dead.

He felt dead as he hailed a taxi to take him to the coffee shop. He knew by now that Bryan would be notified that he was missing.

He sighed, cursing Angelo in his heart, and then got into the taxi.

The driver was a female driver, who passed him a pack of napkins, "Wipe off your tears."

He knew in Cain’s eyes he was just a toy.

Roy thanked her, took it, and rubbed it against his cheeks.

The taxi stopped at the entrance of the coffee, and when he saw the car the bodyguards always drove out at a glance, his shoulders sagged in relief.

After paying for the taxi, he opened the door and walked down, heading towards the guards.
