Damon's p.o.v
I stood leaning against the wall while looking at Berry who was angrily hitting the punching bag hard. Sweat was running down his forehead and he was panting loudly.
"What's up with you?" I asked calmly.
"What did you gather?" He asked back ignoring my question.
I stood upright with a sigh then moved closer extending a few documents in my hand to him.
He stopped punching the bag and looked at them with a frown.
"Aren't those our college students on the document?" He asked seriously.
"Yes, apparently they are humans and they were also involved in Hera's disappearance. According to that talkative girl, what was her name.. Sally, they didn't think it would be serious when they dared her to cross the river." I answered.
"So they knew how dangerous it was, yet they still dared her to go?" He asked then grabbe
Hunter's p.o.v"Would you like some coffee?" I asked softly as I sat next to Hera in the living room. She looked at me with a huge smile then shook her head."I won't sleep if I do drink it. I know that other people take it so they can sleep better, but with me, it has the opposite effect." She answered then stood up."I should probably hit the bed. It's pretty late already." She said then quickly walked out of the room without a second glance at me.Something was definitely wrong with her, I could feel it. It's like she was avoiding me.I stood up and went after her. When I reached her room, I took in a deep breath and released it."Hera," I called softly.I heard footsteps before the door opened."Yes, Hunter." She answered with a lowered gaze."Can we talk?'" I asked
Zver's p.o.vI stood outside the house, closed my eyes, and inhaled deeply.I could smell the two hunters' scent and sweat combined in one and it was repulsive. Their movements were very silent and careful, but I could also hear how one was having a hard time breathing calmly. If I was to judge by my instinct, one of them was very skilled and professional while the other wasn't all that. Taking them down wasn't going to be hard as long as I was focused on their moves. My main interest was seeing what kind of weaponry they had on them.My kind were stronger than most supernaturals and many weapons weren't that dangerous when used on us. But there were a few that were effective, although not to an alpha Tasmanian. An alpha held off well unlike the other Tasmanian. Only one weapon worked on an alpha and that
Hera's p.o.vI turned with a low sigh and faced the other side.My head was badly aching and my body was in pain."Is she awake?" A girl behind me asked."I don't know, maybe she is?" The boy answered."Should we eat her?" The girl asked as I opened my eyes in an instance."The alpha will kill us. Didn't you see what happened hours ago?. When he came to the pack with the human in his arms, the elders ordered our warriors to kill him for his betrayal of leaving the p....""But he beat them all up in just a few minutes, wow, It was so cool. His alpha form was bigger than all Tasmanians of our pack. Did you see how the elders feared him?. They immediately asked him to calm down and invited him to talk in the private hunt." The girl said cheerfully cutting the boy off.
Zver's p.o.vI walked out of the room furiously. I wasn't expecting her to embrace or accept me, but hearing her reject me openly and calling me a monster made me lose my temper.I glanced at my side and noticed how the warriors had lowered their gazes to the ground. The females were smiling at me but failing to approach me because of the dark pheromones I was emitting.I wanted no female besides my bond and I wasn't going to fight for one. The pack rules were shit and I hated the elders for carrying them out.I walked ahead to the elders' hut and walked in without a word. The whole pack had changed since Hunter left. Everything now looked different and new and one of those things were the houses. In the past, we made caves and searched for them. Living in our Tasmanian form was one of the things we enjoy
Zver's p.o.v "You do?" The elder asked in shock. "I just said that, didn't I?" I asked back. "But a twil bond is formed rarely, it's once a ....." "Khan, he's an alpha so it is very possible. Just look at him carefully, who could believe that an Alpha exists. We have never had an alpha in forever but here he is. He is a miracle on his own. I have never seen an alpha Tasmanian before but I was taught about them. How their built was twice as larger as a normal Tasmanian and how they had extreme heightened senses and abilities than a normal Tasmanian. His abilities should be beyond most supernaturals." My father said loudly then stood up. "I remember being in awe and shock with the lessons. And as I grew up they became like a myth in my head. But today we all witnessed my son's ability as well as his for
Hera's p.o.vI sat with blurry eyes on the ground not knowing what to do or where to go. Even if I was to run, I was going to be easily captured, my feet were badly hurting and I was sure that the whole place was crawling with beasts. As the girl had referred, Tasmanians. My mind was only filled with the days I had spent with that Tasmanian and I couldn't believe I even felt something for it. Just remembering how it felt to be held and treated by it made me break down in tears again. It acted like a human and even had a name. "Hunter". Now it was Zver and there was this threatening aura around the beast man and his hateful words of killing me stung my heart so bad."Why Hunter?" I sobbed sadly. When the door opened I quickly moved hitting the cold wall again.Zver walked in an
Hera's p.o.v"But you look like a kid!" I pointed out the truth."Human there is a limit to how rude you can be in a day." She said seriously."I'm sorry," I whispered."I was joking, so what's your name?" She asked with a wide smile."I'm...I'm Hera," I answered after hesitating."Hera my name is Charlotte. To be honest I'm so happy to meet you. You know I rarely see humans because of the elders' warnings. A few times I saw them from afar and envied what they did, like singing together and swimming." She said excitedly.Looking at her now had me realizing something. Despite being a Tasmanian, she had a human character and she acted like any normal girl who was happy over something."I'm glad you feel that way," I answered then pat the bed nex
Zver's p.o.vI walked back to the room after a long chat with my father. I wasn't ready to meet my siblings or my mother yet, just seeing my father was enough.News about my rank and powers had obviously spread widely by now, and as much as my mother would have loved to meet me, I was sure that she was holding back because of fear. I was way above her in rank and I hated the way she treated my father. Hunter understood her well and reasoned with her, but I didn't.While chatting with my father I made sure to tell him everything that wasn't private. I told him how Hunter and I had to live in order to survive and work together. I also wanted him to know that we weren't a hundred percent safe in our pack because of the hunters I had injured back in the forest. I knew it was a matter of time before they were to find our pack and report to thei
