Jade took a breath and completely woke up when the young man let go of her lips. She swallowed her own saliva several times and gasped for air. “What did you do?” She tearfully asked him.

He quickly turned the girl’s head and leaned against his chest. “I’m sorry, babe. I only gave you water to drink, okay?” He caressed her hair and shoulders.

She was still crying and tightened her grip on the young man’s arm. “Liar! Something’s stuck in my throat!”

Tristan’s eyes widened slightly, and he was confused. He was afraid that his girlfriend might not be able to breathe properly. He quickly picked up the glass and poured water on it. “Come on, babe, drink this water. Don’t scare me like this, and I will kill the doctor who invented that medicine!”

She angrily took the water and drank it. She felt betrayed by what the young man did. She took a few more sips of water before the blockage in her throat disappeared.
