Book 5: Chapter 5-Chasing

“Hey, this is not the way home!” Natasha complained when Dark suddenly changed his way.

“We’re just passing through.” Dark was lying, and he didn’t want the girl to be scared.

Frowning, Natasha remained silent in her seat again. But she suddenly became nervous when the young man turned to another road again. She also caught him glancing at the side mirror often.

“Close your eyes.” Dark ordered the girl, and he could no longer hide the real situation from her.

“I’m scared!” Natasha exclaimed and couldn’t close her eyes. Her chest was throbbing. The black car behind them earlier was still tailing them. It was obvious that they were the target.

“I’m here; just trust me.” Dark sped up the car he was driving when he saw that the traffic lights were about to change into red lights. He needs to be able to U-turn to leave those following them.
