Chapter 12 He Kissed Me

Janet was shaken by his question. Her heart was beating too fast and she doesn't know what to say. She looked at his lips and then his eyes. Her heartbeat is erratic at this point. She swallowed her saliva nervously.

"It's okay to say No, you know"

"I....uhmmm...I ..mean..."

Jayden looks into her eyes, he is shocked that at her age, she is so flustered by him asking if he could kiss her. It did something to him that he can't quite understand. He bent his head further.

"Can I"

"Hmmm"

Jayden smiled so deeply, she saw his dimples fully and her head was mush. He bent his head and claimed her lips. The kiss was gentle, slow, almost like he is tasting her and allowing her to get used to his mouth on hers. He kissed her lower lips and then upper lips, he heard her gasp and was about to deepen the kiss when he heard.

"Boss, oh my, I am so sorry..." And he looks up, to just hear footsteps of one of the employees almost running away from the scene.

Janet felt as if someone just woke her up, she
