WILDLY THUMPING HEART

Juliet doesn't even know for how long she's been sitting alone, in the same position and the same place.

Maybe it has been a minute? Two minutes? An hour? Two hours? Or perhaps several hours have even passed by?

She just doesn't know.

She can't really tell because her eyes have swollen up from all the crying crying and crying.

Ever since the men locked her up and she crumbled down on the floor, she has not even made a move to get up.

Juliet can hear her phone ringing again.

The stupid phone has been ringing non-stop for as long as she can remember now.

Yet she didn't even make an attempt to take a look at it.

Juliet feels like her whole world has come crashing down in just these past few days.

The wall she had suffered to build-up for years has come crashing down without any mercy.

It was utterly useless now.
